The Right Choice

"Wow. Here I sit sweating in my own apartment this summer after this company installed an AC in my place which soon started smelling like dirty socks. My contractor said the AC unit probably came with mold and bacteria in it from being shipped overseas, and should’ve been cleaned when it was installed. But even under warranty, this company won’t come back and clean it for me. They denied anything was wrong and then ghosted me. I would not use them or recommend them at all."

"I just had a great Professional HVAC Service call with a very knowledgeable and thorough technician by the name of Edward Martinez. Unfortunately, I’ve had quite a few issues off and on since I bought the Goodman unit in 2023. Out of the various technicians that have come to repair my unit, this technician Edward was exceptional! He’s extremely forthcoming in his explanation of what he’s doing which makes a homeowner feel confident in his hands. I will always ask for him in the future. He even found a concern he had regarding my gas line, which I really appreciated! Excellent professional!!"

"I had a very disappointing experience with The Right Choice HVAC. They did a poor job communicating and never followed up on several issues I raised during the project. The salesperson, Allen, made promises about services and repairs that were never delivered. He basically lied to my face, saying “yes” to repairs just to secure the check. Once he realized I was using a loan for the project, he immediately dismissed my concerns and never followed through. I had to call The Right Choice multiple times just to get them to address some of the issues. The job was completed only two months ago, and I’m already dealing with problems in the draining system—costing me $400 to fix. It’s clear they didn’t care about the quality of their work because they knew I wouldn’t see it once it was done. I was especially outraged that after installing a $20,000+ system, they didn’t even bother to clean the air conditioning grills. They eventually returned to wash the grills and put foil paper to cover the old boots, which I accepted. But overall, their standards are low. It seems they’re mainly interested in pushing expensive equipment and getting customers to finance through their partner, Goodleap, rather than delivering quality work."
